Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1 - Arrival in Catania
Arrive in Catania, check in to your accommodation and take some time to settle in. Explore the historic centre, including Piazza del Duomo, the Cathedral of Sant'Agata and Via Etnea. Enjoy your first Sicilian dinner featuring local specialities.
Day 2 - Mount Etna & Taormina
Breakfast, spend the morning discovering Mount Etna, Europe's largest active volcano. Visit the ancient Greek Theatre and enjoy spectacular views towards Mount Etna and the Ionian Sea. Wander along Corso Umberto and Piazza IX Aprile before spending the evening in this beautiful hilltop town.
Day 3 - Agrigento & Valley of the Temples
Breakfast, travel towards Agrigento and discover the Valley of the Temples, one of Sicily's most impressive archaeological sites. After lunch, explore the historic centre of Agrigento or relax along the nearby coast before continuing to your accommodation for the evening.
Day 4 - Noto & Syracuse
Breakfast, continue east towards Noto, one of Sicily's finest Baroque towns. Walk along Corso Vittorio Emanuele and admire its elegant churches and palaces before enjoying a traditional Sicilian pastry or granita. Continue to Syracuse and explore Ortigia before enjoying dinner overlooking the sea.
Day 5 - Syracuse & Ortigia
Breakfast, spend a relaxed morning exploring more of Syracuse, including the Archaeological Park and its impressive Greek Theatre. Return to Ortigia for lunch and spend the afternoon wandering through its narrow streets, small shops and picturesque piazzas. Take some time to enjoy the waterfront before a final Sicilian dinner.
Day 6 - Final Morning & Departure
Enjoy a relaxed breakfast and spend your final morning exploring any favourite areas or picking up some last-minute souvenirs. Depending on your departure time, enjoy one final Sicilian lunch before heading to Catania Airport or continuing your journey
